I knew next to nothing about Julia Child before the film..great movie for light comedy.not too stern. Amy Adams is always great and fun! Again Streep is fabulous! and Julie Powell was working the 9/11 help line when she undertook the project because she felt depressed, ?wonder Y? So,would she be wealthy? Hardly!..Those jobs don’t have many “Investor Weekly Magazine” subscribers, but Interesting comment below thought it meant she was. .. the food would be enormously expensive in New York City..but thought that had no effect on the film..
